The GM tank banger with a silicone ring is a simple underwater signaling device used by scuba divers to get the attention of a dive buddy or group. It consists of a high-visibility hard plastic ball attached to a stretchy silicone or rubber band that fits around a standard scuba cylinder.

Features & Specifications

The GM tank banger with a silicone ring are made from corrosion-resistant plastic and high-elastic silicone to withstand saltwater environments. The stretchy ring is designed to fit most standard scuba tanks, ranging from 6 inches in diameter and up (suitable for 12L–14L cylinders). Unlike banging a dive knife against a tank, a dedicated tank banger is designed to be non-destructive to the cylinder’s exterior. Unlike underwater “shakers,” a tank banger remains silent until manually activated.
