The GM head immobilizer is a critical emergency medical device used to stabilize a patient’s head and neck, during suspected spinal or trauma injuries.
Features & Specifications
- Made of high-density, closed-cell foam coated in vinyl.
- Designed to work in conjunction with spine boards and cervical collars to prevent further injury during transport.
- Consist of a base plate, two adjustable side blocks, and forehead/chin straps.
- Feature large ear holes to allow responders to monitor for bleeding or fluid drainage without moving the head.
