The GM Sports Vinyl SCUBA tank valve protectors are inexpensive, flexible caps designed to shield a diving cylinder’s valve and critical O-ring from physical impact, dirt, water, and dust.
Features & Specifications
- Feature an integrated retention string or cord to secure the cap to the tank neck so it does not get lost when the valve is open and connected to a regulator.
- Designed to absorbs light dings and scratches during transit to prevent damaging the brass threads or seating surfaces.
- Prevents the critical face O-ring from slipping out or getting lost during handling.
- Serves as an industry-standard indicator for dive operations; leaving the cap on signifies a full tank, while leaving it off indicates the tank needs a refill.
